My haiku- the fish that got away

a fish was pink and stellar
It met a grey horse
the fish was taken away

THE FIRST LINE

It was that time of year again, the crows started to scream, and the dimmly lit sunlight shuddered into the dark barn.

The Grandmother

It was the day my grandmother exploded. It was a sight I thought I would never see. My grandmother had been such a sweet lady, almost as sweet as candy. But she had just turned bitter as black likerish. I was outraged by the sight of it. Never had she screamed so loud, never had she screamed such awful words.I was frightened, I thought she was going to kill me. I had to run, had to getaway. She started chasing me, crying hysterically calling for me to come back. I just ran, but when I looked back I saw her on her knees staring at the concrete pavement. I got into my sedan and drove off. I didn't even look at her when I drove by. From there on until she died, I never spoke a word to her again...

Dead Channel

The sky above the port was the color of television, tuned to a dead channel. I took a deep sigh, then I kept on walking forward. The world has been slowly changing, and with that I have have been too. Global warming was taken into affect, and almost the whole world was surrounded in ocean. The only areas of ground left were central states, mountainous regions, and nepal. The rest of the world drowned and died from the very substance that keeps us alive. Not only were the seas changing, but the o-zone was weraing away. Scientists estimated we only have twelve more years until the rest of join the others. The days go by fast, and it seems that time is slowly slipping away from me. All the things I hoped to accomplish in my lifetime...just shattered and now stuck in a dull hopless world, that I don't even recognize anymore. The dead channel above the port shut off there is nothing left to see......

Screams from the sky

A screaming comes across the sky. I began to shiver and ache, screams like that were u heard of in this neighborhood. Ad by the looks of it it was coming from the Richie's house. I opened the shutters and looked through to the Richie's small house. The lights were out, there was no visibility of the inside. But then, the lights flickered on and off and out of it I could make a shadow against the northern wall towards the kitchen. The shadow looked like a man, but I coudn't be sure. I started to panic, I had never witnessed or heard anything like this before. Not only that, but that but the nearest house was 5 miles away. There was no way I was going to go outside when I heard a shriek like that outside. For precautions I decided to lock the doors. There would be no killers of thief's coming into my house. And just to make sure, I pulled out my 12 gauge from the closet. I waited and waited...but no one came. I began to become stressful, and nervous. I clutched my shotgun like I was holding my wife, when she died. BSHHH...I was upstairs when I heard the downstairs window shatter, I took a deep breath, and calmly walked down the stairs.

Dying Out

We started dying before the snow, and like the snow, we continued to fall. We became an outcast, we were ostracized left and right. Soon our race was banned from the face of the Earth. Our kind took our remaining space ships  and looked for a new place to colonize. We found a new planet, we named it Ralstone. The conditions were harsh, and our doctors had to change the dna in our bodies so we could live in the harsh enviornment. At first we were weak, then we grew stronger until living conditions were strong. Once our numbers grew, we would take back the world that we used to live on, and ostracize the others like they did to us. When the day come, we took hold of the moment, and sent our troops on military ships, to land on the planet. 15 days passed and we had arrived. We took back what was rightfully ours...

cold day in april

It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen. There was something eerie about the day, and it just didn't feel normal.I got out of the car, and stepped up to the sidewalk. I took a deep breath, and then exhaled. It must've been about 10 degrees because I could see my breath spot on. I started walking in the direction I normally do, and then I took a right on the corner and headed five blocks straight and on the right was my office.Once I arrived, my cheeks were bitter cold and my nose was as runny as it had been all year.I opened the door and was welcomed to the nice heating system the office had installed last January. I took of my scarf, jacket, and other layers and layed them on my designated rack. Now it was time to continue the dream. I walked into the main floor and asked the accountant if I any meetings today, she checked and said I was clear. I walked away towards the elevator with a sigh of relief. I was located on the highest floor which meant a whole lot of elevator music. The door opened and I came out singing a tune from the machine that brought me up there. I looked to my right and saw the moon rocks, and I looked in front of me to see my grand masterpiece I had been working on, Gr-h Bionic Nuclear firearm. Alright, I said....SHOWTIME

Discovered she had turned into the wrong person

Once upon a time, there was a woman who discovered she had turned into the wrong person. She had lost her personality and along with that her friends. No longer did people not recognize her, but she coudn't even recognize herself. When she walked down the sidewalks, people looked at her differently, notin the way they used to look either. She had stopped at a puddle and looked at herself in the reflection, she was startled to find it wasn't her face, it looked like the face of an old decrepid lady. She started to cry, if only she had listened to her friends and her parents. She wished she could start all over, and make the right choices. But obviously that couldn't happen, it was life. And if you make poor decisions you have to suffer the consequences. Then it hit her, you don't have to rewind time, you can just rebuild. And that's exactly what she did.

Messages in the Street

In the beginning, sometimes I left messages in the street. I tried to show people I was there, but they just ignored it. But on that one day, something magical happened, a boy, had noticed one of my messages. He called for me, and I called for him. The boy spent hours to days to months and to years trying to find me. 3 years had passed, and he was still as determined as he had been the day he found my message. Then, a miracle happened...he found me. I was in shock and awe, never thinking the day would come. Out of this, who would of thought my savior would be a boy at the age of 8. I will always cherish that day, because that was the day I gained my life back, and I owe it not to god nor his brothers, but to the little boy. The small innocent little boy. And with my life back, I also gained a new friend, one that would be there for me and even care for me on my deathbed. I had never had kids of my own...becuase of the years I spent hiding. But ina way I did. And for that, I am most grateful, for not only did I gain a friend, I gained a son.
